Waste Water Inclined Plate Clarifier for South America Client

Being a separation solution provider, GN is a professional manufacturer of solid liquid separation equipment or integrated separation system combining several different solid liquid separation machines.

The inclined plate clarifier is normally designed as up and down structure. In the upper part of this machine, a group of inclined plates are installed; there is certain gap between each two of the plates and the water can flow through the gas. The inclination direction of the plates is opposite to that of water flow, thus the suspended solids in the water will settle onto the plates and move downward with gravity and. The total area of the inclined plates greatly increases the settlement area of the solids residues in wastewater.

In some waste water treatment project, the large content of sludge in the water can be moved out by using dewatering decanter centrifuge or screw press unit. Nevertheless, still some fine solids left in the water. At this time, the inclined plate clarifier can be introduced into the process for fine solids separation. Comparing with the disc stack separator, the inclined plate clarifier is a more cost saving solution.

In the lower part of the machine, it is designed as V-shape that helps the settled fine solids accumulation at the bottom of the clarifier. A screw conveyor is installed to transport the sediments to the outlet of the machine. The sludge outlet is connected with an electrical diaphragm pump that can pump the sludge out of the inclined plate clarifier.

The inclined plate clarifier can be used as single equipment or installed with other equipment to make a solid-liquid separation system. By connecting with oil water separator, it can be sed for oil content waste water treatment. By connecting with polymer dosing unit, the clarifier can be used for mud cleaning.
