Over 10 Sets of GN Stack Vibrating Screens and Banana Screens Applied in Domestic Ilmenite Mine
Recently, GN Separation successfully supplied more than 10 sets of vibrating screening equipment for a domestic ilmenite mining project, including GN Stack Vibrating Screens and large Banana Vibrating Screens. The successful application once again demonstrates GN’s strong manufacturing capability and technical advantages in the field of fine mineral processing and screening equipment.

GN Stack Vibrating Screen is mainly suitable for wet screening, classification, and dewatering treatment of fine-grained materials in mineral processing, coal preparation, and other industries. The equipment can be configured with 2 to 5 screen decks according to on-site requirements, providing flexible solutions for different working conditions. As a self-developed product by GN, the Stack Vibrating Screen adopts the principle of two-degree-of-freedom resonance and is driven by a single vibration source with dual vibration motors to achieve linear vibration of the entire machine.

Compared with conventional screening equipment, GN Stack Vibrating Screen features a unique vibration mode, high screening efficiency, energy saving performance, and large processing capacity. The machine is designed with advanced technology, simple structure, and stable operation, making it one of the most advanced fine material screening equipment currently available on the market. In addition, GN Stack Vibrating Screen uses high-quality polyurethane screen mesh, which offers excellent wear resistance, longer service life, and lower maintenance costs.
For the coarse and medium particle size screening process, GN also supplied large Banana Vibrating Screens for the project. GN Banana Vibrating Screen is mainly composed of a box-type vibration exciter, screen box, vibration damping spring, support structure, and driving device. The vibration trajectory is linear, ensuring efficient material transportation and screening performance.

The Banana Screen adopts a multi-stage broken-line screen surface design with continuously changing angles. The larger inclination angle at the feeding end allows materials to move quickly and achieve rapid stratification, which is beneficial for screening easy-to-screen materials. As the inclination angle gradually decreases toward the discharge end, the material flow rate slows down, increasing the screening probability and significantly improving overall screening efficiency.

With reliable product quality and extensive experience in mining and mineral separation industries, GN continues to provide professional screening and separation solutions for global customers. The successful operation of more than 10 sets of GN vibrating screens in this domestic ilmenite mining project further proves GN’s capability in handling large-scale mineral processing applications and delivering efficient, stable, and cost-effective equipment solutions.
