GN Vibrating Screen for Domestic Iron Mine
GN Separation recently completed the delivery and commissioning of a vibrating screen system for a domestic iron mine, supporting the customer’s ongoing efforts to improve mineral processing efficiency and adapt to increasingly stringent industry requirements. The supplied equipment includes 1 unit of Large Linear Vibrating Screen GNLSP3073 and 4 units of 5-Deck Stack Vibrating Screen GND5Z1014, forming an integrated screening solution for different stages of the beneficiation process.

In recent years, the iron ore mining and processing industry has been facing multiple challenges, such as declining ore grades, higher requirements for product quality, and stronger pressure on energy consumption and environmental performance. Efficient screening and classification equipment has therefore become a key factor in optimizing process flow, stabilizing downstream separation, and reducing overall operating costs. Based on the customer’s on-site conditions and process targets, GN provided a combination of large-capacity linear screening and high-efficiency fine screening equipment to meet both throughput and precision requirements.

The GN Large Linear Vibrating Screen GNLSP3073 is mainly composed of a box-type vibration exciter, screen box, vibration damping springs, support structure, and driving device. Its vibration trajectory is linear, ensuring stable material movement and effective separation across the entire screen surface. The screen can be installed horizontally or at a certain inclined angle according to process needs. In this iron mine project, the large linear vibrating screen is primarily used for wet classification, dewatering, and related process links, helping to remove excess water and oversized particles before downstream beneficiation. This type of equipment is widely applied not only in mineral processing, but also in coal preparation, gravel aggregate production, building materials, and chemical industries. GN can also customize single-layer or double-layer screen surface structures and overall screen dimensions to match specific customer requirements.

GN supplied four units of GND5Z1014 5-Deck Stack Vibrating Screens, To enhance fine material classification efficiency. This stack vibrating screen is a self-developed product by GN and is especially suitable for wet screening, classification, and dewatering of fine-grained materials. According to on-site demands, it can be configured with 2 to 5 screen decks, allowing multiple particle size separations to be completed within a compact footprint. The GN Stack Vibrating Screen adopts a unique vibration mode, driven by a single vibration source with dual vibration motors. By utilizing the principle of two-degree-of-freedom resonance, the entire machine achieves linear vibration, combining energy efficiency with high screening performance.

Thanks to its advanced design, the GN Stack Vibrating Screen features high screening efficiency, large processing capacity, simple structure, and stable, reliable operation. It is widely recognized as one of the advanced solutions in the field of fine particle screening. The equipment is fitted with polyurethane screen mesh, which effectively reduces maintenance frequency and operating costs for the mine.
This successful application of GN vibrating screens in a domestic iron mine once again demonstrates GN’s technical strength and practical experience in mineral processing equipment. GN will continue to focus on technological innovation and customized solutions, providing reliable screening and separation equipment to support the sustainable development of the mining and processing industry.
