GN 5-Deck Stack Vibrating Screen for Domestic Iron Mine
This week, GN Separation successfully assembled four GND5Z1014 Stack Vibrating Screens and executed the factory test running. The units, designed specifically for high-efficiency iron ore screening, are now undergoing final inspections before being dispatched to a major domestic iron ore mining site later next month.

The Critical Role of Stack Vibrating Screens in Iron Ore Processing
Iron ore, the cornerstone of global steel production, requires meticulous processing to meet the stringent quality standards demanded by modern industries. Screening, a vital step in this workflow, separates ore particles by size, ensuring optimal downstream processing efficiency. Traditional single-deck vibrating screens, while effective, often struggle to handle large volumes of material while maintaining precision, particularly in fine particle separation. This is where stack vibrating screens—also known as multi-deck—prove indispensable. By stacking multiple screening decks vertically, these machines enable large volume of material into single unit. This compact, high-capacity design reduces footprint requirements, lowers energy consumption, and enhances throughput compared to single-deck screen. For iron ore producers, this translates to higher recovery rates of valuable minerals, reduced operational costs, and improved environmental sustainability through minimized waste generation.

GN Stack Vibrating Screen Features
1. Multi-Deck Efficiency:
The GND5Z1014 features five independent screening decks, allowing simultaneous separation of higher flowrate to the machine depending on feed characteristics.
2. High-Frequency Vibration Technology:
Equipped with dual-vibration motors, the screen generates high-frequency, low-amplitude vibrations that prevent blinding and pegging—common issues in sticky or moisture-laden iron ore applications. This ensures consistent screening accuracy even with challenging materials.
3. Robust Construction and Wear Resistance:
Built with high-strength steel frames, the GND5Z1014 is engineered to withstand the abrasive conditions typical of iron ore processing. Key components, such as screen decks, are coated with polyurea to extend service life and reduce maintenance downtime.
4. Rapid Replacement of Screen Mesh
The stack vibrating screen is installed with polyurethane screen mesh which can be replaced quickly by loosening and fastening the screen blocking device to save downtime.
The upcoming deployment of the GND5Z1014 screens underscores GN Separation’s role in supporting China’s strategic mineral security initiatives. With domestic iron ore production facing increasing pressure to meet rising steel demand, efficient processing technologies are essential for maximizing yield from existing reserves.
The latest achievement of GN Separation reflects its broader strategy of combining localized expertise with global technology trends. With the successful launch of various forms of mining screens at GN factory, GN Separation is expected to occupy a larger market share in the vibrating screen market, providing professional and reliable screening solutions for users both domestically and internationally.
