Four Packages of Mini Decanter Centrifuges Delivered to Europe

GN Separation is pleased to announce the successful delivery of four packages of Mini Decanter Centrifuges to a European customer for solids-liquid separation in mineral exploration mud treatment. The equipment has been manufactured, assembled, tested, and shipped according to the project schedule, marking another milestone for GN in supplying compact and efficient separation solutions to the international market.

GN’s Mini Decanter Centrifuge is specifically designed for small-capacity and pilot-scale applications, while maintaining the core advantages of full-size decanter centrifuges. By utilizing high-speed centrifugal force, the equipment is capable of continuously separating fine solids from drilling mud, reducing solids content in the liquid phase and enabling reuse or further treatment of the clarified fluid. At the same time, separated solids can be more easily handled, transported, or disposed of, significantly improving overall site efficiency.

For this project, the four centrifuge units were supplied as compact and modular packages, allowing for easy transportation, installation, and integration into the customer’s existing process flow. The skid-mounted design minimizes on-site civil work and makes the system particularly suitable for temporary or mobile exploration sites. Despite their small footprint, the units are engineered to deliver stable performance, low vibration, and reliable operation under continuous duty.

Another key advantage of GN’s mini decanter centrifuges is their operational flexibility. Adjustable bowl speed and differential speed allow the equipment to adapt to changes in slurry density, particle size distribution, and flow rate—common challenges in exploration drilling mud treatment. The robust mechanical design, combined with wear-resistant materials for critical components, ensures a long service life and reduced maintenance requirements.

Throughout the project execution, GN’s technical and project teams worked closely with the customer to understand application requirements and operating conditions. Based on this information, the equipment configuration was optimized to ensure reliable separation performance while maintaining energy efficiency. Before shipment, all units underwent strict inspection and test runs to confirm mechanical integrity and operational stability.

The successful delivery of these four mini decanter centrifuges to Europe further demonstrates GN Solids Control’s capability in providing tailored solids control and separation solutions for a wide range of industries, including mining, exploration drilling, environmental protection, and industrial wastewater treatment. As global demand continues to grow for compact, efficient, and environmentally responsible separation technologies, GN remains committed to continuous innovation and customer-focused engineering.

GN Separation will continue to support customers worldwide with reliable equipment, professional technical support, and proven solutions for solids-liquid separation challenges in both large-scale and specialized applications.
