Decanter Centrifuge for Russia Chemical Plant

This week, GN finished the fabrication of 2 sets decanter centrifuge unit for a client from Russia. The decanter centrifuges would be used in chemical plant for salt dewatering. Being solid liquid separation solution provider, GN Separation is committed to design and manufacture both single equipment and integrated system to meet industrial separation requirements.

In this order, the decanter centrifuge selected is GN dewatering centrifuge. The dewatering decanter is mainly used for sludge dewatering. With high solids content, the screw of the centrifuge is easily worn. To solve this problem and ensure the service life of the equipment, GN uses tungsten carbide plate and bushing for the anti-wearing performance of the screw blade and solids discharge port. In the meanwhile, if a clearer liquid is required, the operator can adjust the position of the liquid port wire plate. To make the solid cake much dryer or effluent much clear, the operator can adjust the feeding rate, running speed, liquid wire plate etc. accordingly.

GN chemical plant decanter centrifuge is equipped with two driving motors. The main motor is to drive the bowl, and the secondary motor is driving the screw propeller. Both motors are controlled from the VFD control panel. By changing the running speed, the decanter centrifuge is applicable for different sludge conditions. For customer convenience, GN also installed the VFD for feeding pump in the control panel. By equipping with PLC and HMI touch screen, the operator can operate and monitor the machine easily.

 

GN decanter centrifuge is classified as dewatering series, separation series and clarifying decanter for application in different working conditions.

In chemical plant, the decanter centrifuge is always used to treat the sludge with large solid content and big size solid particles.
