Vacuum Loading Solids Pump and Centrifuge for Sludge Treatment

This week, GN completed the fabrication and assembly of a set of sludge treatment equipment, which will be delivered to the customer site later. According to the site conditions and treatment requirements of customer, GN recommended relevant conveying equipment-solids vacuum pump and sludge dewatering decanter centrifuge.

Solids vacuum pump is completely pneumatic conveying equipment developed by GN, which can adapt to a variety of working conditions. Because it can be applied to a variety of materials, including liquid, low solid content mud, high solid content sludge, and some loose solid particles, users often use it as a transfer tool for material transportation. For example, for sludge, users are usually unable to clean the sludge pit easily because the area of the sludge pit is often large, which is not conducive to heavy equipment such as excavators to extract materials. If GN solid vacuum pump is used, as long as the suction pipe extended from the equipment is placed in the sludge pit, it can achieve long-distance suction and discharge. GN solids vacuum pump adopts the working principle of suction and discharge reciprocating. Before suction, a negative pressure is formed inside the pump body, and during discharge, a positive pressure is used to empty the materials inside the Pump cavity. The same air source is used for suction and discharge. The equipment does not consume electric energy and has no electrical components, so it can be used in explosion-proof field.

The sludge transferred by the solids vacuum pump is temporarily stored in the buffer tank. After conditioning or flocculation, it can be sent to the decanter centrifuge for treatment. GN decanter centrifuge is mainly suitable for solid-liquid two-phase separation. It can be divided into dewatering, separation or clarification series according to the user's treatment purposes and material properties. Different decanter series are consistent in shape and structure, and there are different designs for the beach angle and pitch of the screw propeller inside. For wear protection or working performance, GN will optimize the raw materials used in the equipment, in order to better meet the processing requirements.
