There are three main sludge dewatering equipment widely used nowadays-filter press, decanter centrifuge and screw press. With the advantages of low investment, high automatic operation and compact structure, the dewatering screw press takes a place in the market. Besides, it is low energy consumption, low labor intensity and low operating cost. However, it is high moisture in discharged solid cake, low handling capacity and much suitable for the sludge with soft solid phase. Anyway, users can choose the most suitable sludge dewatering equipment according to various requirements and working condition.

GN sludge dewatering screw press is composed of sludge collection module, flocculation module, thickening module and dewatering module. In the dewatering module, the screw with gradual reducing screw pitch and the staggered installation of floating ring and fixed ring ensures the dewatering module can work continuously with no blocking.
To give client a mobile solution for sludge dewatering, GN is able to install the dewatering screw press, chemical dosing unit for flocculation, and transfer pump on the same skid to make an integrated system, also with the sludge collection tank under installed.
